The last vote of the school year. Make sure to vote!!!
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is being released shortly in theaters. The amount of excitement in the library over the book and the upcoming movie is at an all time high. I had to buy additional copies of the book to keep up with the demand. Our book café meetings over the past few months inevitably revert back to discussion of this book. This morning, one of the students asked me if I had heard the soundtrack yet for the movie. Sadly, no I had not but apparently it is amazing and she was overcome emotionally by 2 songs. I love how this book has evoked such strong emotions.

The Grade 8 Matrix students have been working on a year long project. The students must combine Social Studies, Math, Science, French and English all in one project. The outcome is truly spectacular. The team of 4 must work on the project, create a board and then present in front of their teachers. Since the Library has a large space, the boards are being presented here.
